Hensley named Heritage Christian Academy MVP

Heritage Christian Academy held its basketball banquet on Tuesday night and Aaron Hensley was named the team’s Most Valuable Player.

Other varsity award winners included Whitt Martin (Christian Character), Cameron Oesch (Most Improved), Cadyn Travis (Hustle and Best Defense), Bryce Askew (Coaches), Nathan Wheatcraft (Heritage), Noah Arvin (Best Offense), Austin Brown (Energizer), Lucas Weiss (Utility Man), John Spurling (Rookie of the Year).

Arvin also picked up awards for highest field goal percentage, rebounds, scoring, and blocks. Hensley was honored for leading the team in assists, free throw percentage, and 3-point percentage.

Travis earned mention for leader in minutes logged.

The Lady Warriors also held their banquet on Tuesday night, but the awards were not reported.
