A Hopkinsville woman was injured a crash involved a deer on Mt. Zoar-Latham Road in Christian County Thursday afternoon.
According to the report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, 32-year-old Shakira White of Hopkinsville was driving a vehicle northbound on Mt. Zoar when a deer entered her path. White told officers she swerved to avoid the deer and entered a ditch.
She was able to get her vehicle out of the ditch and drive to a residence, where she then called for medical aid.
White was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by EMS for treatment of multiple injuries
