A signing ceremony is scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Hopkinsville High School for football players James Bradley Jr. and Kavon Johnson.
Bradley Jr. played running back for the Tigers in 2025 and ran for 1,466 yards and 25 touchdowns on 211 carries.
Johnson was an offensive lineman for Hoptown and helped lead the way for Bradley Jr.
Meanwhile, Christian County High School has scheduled a signing ceremony for 3 p.m. Thursday in the school’s Media Center for football players Zyon Wharton and Josh Bridges.
Wharton played wide receiver for the Colonels in 2025, catching 33 passes for 487 yards and four scores.
Bridges played at Murray High School and helped lead the Tigers to the Class 3-A state title game. Bridges caught 54 passes for 905 yards and nine touchdowns and also rushed for three scores. He transferred back to Christian County following the football season and plays on the Colonels’ basketball team.
