Former Christian County High School softball player Avery Adcock made her college debut with the University of Missouri on Sunday in the Leadoff Classic in Clearwater, Fla.
Adcock, a true freshman, entered the Lady Tigers’ game as a pinch runner and scored her first collegiate run in Missouri’s 9-6 victory over Brigham Young.
The former Lady Colonels’ star also was a pinch runner in Missouri’s 5-4 extra-inning loss to South Alabama on Sunday.
Missouri is 2-3 this season and is scheduled to play Central Florida on Wednesday in Orlando.
