Crittenden County held off a Heritage Christian Academy fourth-quarter rally and defeated the host Warriors 73-67 Thursday night in a boys’ high school basketball game.
HCA (1-20) trailed only 33-30 at halftime, but the Rockets extended their lead to 54-43 entering the final quarter.
The Warriors fought back, getting to within 71-67 with 2 seconds left but ran out of time.
Aaron Hensley scored 20 points and Noah Arvin added 19 points, 12 rebounds, and six blocks to lead the Warriors, who return to action tonight at home against Cloverpoint as part of a girls’/boys’ doubleheader.
Nathan Wheatcraft and Jacob Morgan each also had 10 points for HCA.
