A suspect is in custody following a fatal shooting on Dover Road in Montgomery County, Tennessee early Wednesday morning.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the Post Edge Apartments on Dover Road for reports that a shooting had occurred. Upon arrival, they located an adult male victim inside of an apartment who had sustained a gunshot wound. He would be pronounced deceased at the scene.
A male suspect fled from the scene before officers arrived, but he was taken into custody around 7 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The investigation remains ongoing—the names of those involved have not yet been released.
