The Boys’ Region 2 Media Basketball Poll was released Sunday night and Lyon County continues to hold a slim lead over Henderson County for the top spot.
The Lyons received six of 11 first-place votes and had 105 points while the Colonels had five first-place votes and have 104 points this week. Webster County (86), Hopkinsville (77), and Hopkins County Central (63) round out the top five.
Christian County (38) is No. 7 this week and University Heights Academy (34) is No. 8. Weather permitting, the Colonels are at the Blazers Thursday night in a game scheduled to tip off at 7:30 p.m. Airtime is 7:15 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.
