The Christian County Lady Colonels are seeking the season sweep of the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers tonight in a girls’ high school basketball game at Tiger Gym.
The Lady Colonels defeated the Lady Tigers 66-33 two weeks ago in their final meeting at Lyle Dunbar Gym. Christian County enters the game with a 7-7 record.
Lady Colonels’ coach Kiki Radford said she is happy with how her team has played in recent games, including a near upset of Henderson County on Tuesday night.
Hoptown is on a nine-game losing streak and is 1-12 on the season.
Lady Tigers’ coach Keith Leslie said his team won’t change much going into their second matchup with County tonight.
The Lady Colonels have won four straight games in the series.
Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. tonight. The Hopkinsville broadcast will be at 5:45 p.m. on Newsradio 99.3 FM and 1230 AM WHOP. The Christian County broadcast will be at 5:45 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.
