Trigg County ended a two-game losing skid by knocking off host Heritage Christian Academy 78-42 on Tuesday night in a boys’ high school basketball game.
Turnovers were the key stat of the game as the Warriors (1-17) committed 19 miscues to only two by the Wildcats. Trigg also outscored HCA 16-2 in points off turnovers.
Landon Swann had 21 points and Zamarrion Broussard had 15 to lead Trigg (5-12).
HCA was paced by Noah Arvin, who had 12 points and nine rebounds. Aaron Hensley and Lucas Weiss each scored eight points for the Warriors.
The Warriors return to action Thursday night at Community Christian Academy.
