Lady Rebels hold off Hopkinsville to end losing skid

Ja’Mya Kay scored 17 points and Kathryn Ballard and Daymea Garrett each added 11 to lead host Todd County Central to a 55-40 girls’ high school basketball win over Hopkinsville Tuesday night.

Hopkinsville (1-12) dropped its ninth straight game.

Todd improved to 3-15 on the season and ended a four-game losing streak.

Serenity Ewing had 14 points to lead the Lady Tigers, who return to action Friday night at home against Christian County as part of a girls/boys doubleheader that begins at 6 p.m. in Tiger Gym. The Hopkinsville broadcast can be heard at 5:45 p.m. on 99.3 FM and 1230 AM WHOP.
