Graves County had to rally several times, but finally held off visiting Christian County 58-57 Tuesday night in a boys’ high school basketball game.
The Colonels jumped out to a 27-15 halftime lead behind 12 points in the second quarter from Rahsean Stevenson.
The Eagles rallied in the second half to tie the game at 48 at the end of regulation.
Graves outscored the Colonels 10-9 in the extra period to take the victory.
Stevenson led Christian County with 24 points and Darren Bigbee added 15.
Christian County returns to action Friday night at Hopkinsville as part of a girls/boys doubleheader starting at 6 p.m. The boys’ game should start around 7:30 p.m. The Christian County broadcast can be heard around 7:15 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.
