The Hopkinsville Tigers can wrap up the top seed in the Boys’ District 8 Basketball Tournament if they can pick up a win tonight at home against University Heights Academy.
But the Blazers are clinging to hope they can pull off an upset and find a way to earn the No. 1 seed.
Hopkinsville enters tonight’s 6 p.m. game with an 11-7 overall record. However, the Tigers are 2-0 in District 8.
UHA is 5-7 overall.
Tonight also is Hall of Fame night for Hopkinsville as it will recognized its fifth athletic hall of fame class before the game.
Airtime for tonight’s game is around 5:45 p.m. today on Newsradio 99.3 FM and 1230 AM WHOP.
