Atmos Energy was named a 2025 Utility Customer Champion in the South and Midwest regions by data analytics firm Escalent following a recent residential study.
Atmos Energy is a natural gas distribution corporation based in Dallas, Texas with multiple locations in Western Kentucky including Hopkinsville. The utility company services around 3.3 million customers.
The study included 149 of the largest gas, electric and combination utility companies across the country. According to a news release from Atmos Energy, utility companies received the title of Customer Champions based on their Engaged Customer Relationship Index scores.
Atmos Energy had an Engaged Customer Relationship Index score of 775 in the South and 737 in the Midwest. Atmos Energy Vice President of Customer Service Mike Dickson says they take immense pride in being recognized for their exceptional customer service, and it’s an honor to receive the distinction from Escalent’s latest study.
