Slow start dooms Warriors against Christian Fellowship

Heritage Christian Academy got off to a slow start and dropped a 79-41 boys’ basketball game to visiting Christian Fellowship on Monday night.

The Eagles jumped out to a 20-6 lead after one quarter and never looked back against the Warriors, who slipped to 1-8 on the season.

Aaron Hensley led HCA with 10 points and Cameron Oesch added eight points and five rebounds.

Christian Fellowship improved to 9-2 on the season.

The Warriors return to action Dec. 29 against John Hardin in the Roy’s Bar-B-Que/First Southern Bank Classic in Russellville.
