Junior Auxiliary invites the community to 60th Charity Ball, the Jeweled Jubilee

The Hopkinsville Junior Auxiliary is inviting the community to their Jeweled Jubilee this weekend, as they look to support a local organization.

The festivities take over the Silo Event Center on December 27 and it marks the 60th Charity Ball hosted by the Junior Auxiliary, during the 75th year of JA as a whole. JA member Alex Phipps spoke with WHOP on Monday and says tickets are still available, and they’ll have a silent auction that night, all to raise money to support the Pennyroyal Arts Council.

There will be live music by the Joshua Orion Band from Owensboro, and she says they wanted to help keep the Pennyroyal Arts Council going full-steam, as they benefit so many students and individuals in this community.

Phipps says their Charity Ball has helped Junior Auxiliary support numerous worthy organizations and causes over the years, which is exactly what JA is trying to do—better the community however they can.

The doors open at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the Silo, and those interested in attending can get tickets from a Junior Auxiliary member or by filling out the Google form posted on the organization’s Facebook page. Individual tickets cost $50 and couple tickets cost $90.
