Pennyrile Allied Community Services is putting out the word—their Free Christmas Market returns on Saturday, but before that, they’re looking for donations to the cause.
Organizer Sabrina Davis spoke with WHOP Radio on Wednesday and says PACS is excited to bring this charitable cause back to the community on December 20, starting at 10 a.m. at the Western Kentucky Fairgrounds Convention Center. The Christmas Market gives those in need the chance to ‘shop’ for Christmas from stores of donated items.
Davis says PACS will start accepting donations on Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. both days, and then they’ll be ready to roll on Saturday.
She says they’re accepting pretty much any and all donations of clothing, toys, home décor, used and new items, decorations and everything in between.
Davis says they had over 500 people take part in the Market last year, so they’re looking to get as many items as possible.
The market is open to anyone across the PACS service region, which includes the nine counties that make up the Pennyrile Area Development District. If you’d like to make a donation to the cause, you can do so on Thursday and Friday at the convention center on the Western Kentucky State Fairgrounds.
