Local grand jury issues indictments for endangerment, fleeing crimes

A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for wanton endangerment and fleeing crimes on Friday.

Forty-one-year-old Andrew Roper of Bartlesville, Oklahoma was indicted for a slew of charges after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit that endangered other motorists on November 2.

Roper was indicted for first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, reckless driving and other traffic offenses.

Thirty-eight-year-old Keith Warner Jr. of Clarksville was also indicted for a slew of charges after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit and was found to be in possession of multiple controlled substances on October 28.

Warner was indicted for first-degree fleeing or evading police, two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance for methamphetamine and fentanyl, first-degree wanton endangerment, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, driving under the influence of a controlled substance and multiple traffic offenses.
