The Heritage Christian Lady Warriors couldn’t overcome cold shooting and the offensive struggles resulted in a 44-19 loss to visiting New Covenant Christian Monday night in a girls’ high school basketball game.
The visitors raced out to a 13-3 lead after one quarter and pushed their advantage to 29-9 at halftime.
HCA slipped to 0-3 on the season and were led in scoring by Ava DeJager with 10 points.
The Lady Warriors return to action Dec. 16 at home against Community Christian.
