Concrete repairs set to take place on I-24 ramps in Caldwell this week, Christian next week

Concrete repairs to the on and off ramps along I-24 in Caldwell County are underway, and will continue into Christian County next week.

This project is happening on several I-24 interchange ramps, starting this week with Exit 56 to KY 139 in Caldwell County. Each ramp will be addressed individually, which will require temporary closures of those ramps as needed—ramps will be fully closed while repairs are underway.

Because the extent of repairs varies from ramp to ramp, the contractor is unable to provide precise closure durations in advance. However, work at Exit 56 is expected to wrap up by the end of the week.

After that, crews will relocate to Exit 73 on I-24 in Christian County, before moving to Exit 86, and each ramp should take a couple of days to complete, weather permitting.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through these work zones and to plan ahead for possible delays or alternate routes.
