An announcement is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Christian County Board of Education Central Office to announce the head coach of the new Christian County High School Tigers’ football program.
Christian County Public Schools Superintendent Chris Bentzel was a guest of the Early Bird Show on Monday and he said a good group of applicants were considered for the job.
Bentzel said he didn’t want to wait too long to hire the right coach.
Bentzel said he hoped to announce soon the hiring of soccer coaches, a golf coach, a cross-country coach, a volleyball coach and a band director.
