Concrete rehab work will result in one-lane traffic on I-24 near Cadiz

Lane restrictions will be in place on Interstate 24 near Cadiz on Tuesday for additional concrete rehabilitation work.

The work zone will be in place starting Tuesday, December 2, and will be during both daytime and nighttime hours. Traffic will be reduced to one-lane 24/7 during this closure. Locations include between mile-points 68.5 and 66.5, which is where crews plan to start. 

Work is expected to last roughly two weeks, weather permitting.

Then I-24 westbound near the 65-mile-marker between the off-ramp and the on-ramp at U.S 68/KY 80 and I-24 eastbound.

Lane restrictions in the two areas could be put into place at the same time. Motorists are advised to use appropriate caution where workers and equipment are near to traffic flow.
