Crash involving deer on Princeton Road sends one to the hospital

A crash involving a deer sent an Oak Grove woman to the hospital Monday afternoon.

It happened on KY 91 near the six-mile-point around 1:30 p.m. when a deer entered the path of a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Lisa Rowlands of Oak Grove, according to the Christian County Sheriff’s Department.

In the attempt to avoid a collision, Rowlands’ tires dipped off the edge of the roadway and the vehicle flipped. It came to a final stop in a creek near the roadway.

Rowlands was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of multiple injuries.
