The Christian County Public Schools Education Foundation awarded $7,000 in Bright Ideas Grants for education projects last week.
The foundation’s Bright Ideas Grant Program allows local educators to receive funding for classroom projects. The foundation received 24 applications, selected 14 of them and awarded $500 to each project.
Foundation Executive Director Angie Major says this initiative empowers educators to think creatively and provides unique learning experiences that directly benefit students.
