A Hopkinsville woman was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a crash on Canton Street Tuesday morning.
According to the report from the Hopkinsville Police Department, it happened in the intersection of Canton and Wooldridge Road just before 8 a.m. when two vehicles, one driven by 63-year-old Werner Engelhardt of Hopkinsville and the other driven by 64-year-old Pacola Colon of Hopkinsville, collided.
Engelhardt had been attempting to turn left from South Wooldridge onto Canton, while Colon was trying to turn left from Canton onto South Wooldridge.
Colon was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries to her neck and upper back. Engelhardt was not injured.
Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
