The Christian County Lady Colonels rolled to a 3-0 victory over visiting Hopkinsville in the final high school volleyball match between the two schools Monday night at Lyle Dunbar Gym.
The Lady Colonels improved to 16-15 on the season with a 25-12, 25-20, 25-17 victory. Hopkinsville fell to 6-19 on the season. The two schools will consolidate in the fall of 2026.
Madysen Taggart had 10 kills and Alayna King added a pair of kills and 12 assists for Hoptown. Kyleigh Weber had three aces and seven digs.
Christian County did not provide statistics from the match.
Before the game, alumni from both volleyball programs were recognized.
Christian County is scheduled to play host to Fort Campbell tonight in a key District 8 match while Hopkinsville will play host to Hopkins County Central tonight to conclude its season.
