The Boys’ Region 2 Soccer Tournament is scheduled to begin tonight in Henderson with District 8 runner-up University Heights Academy scheduled to play District 5 champion Trigg County at 5:45 p.m.
The Blazers enter the game at 15-6 and the Wildcats are 8-6. UHA defeated Trigg 4-1 during the regular season.
The second quarterfinal game tonight features District 7 champion Madisonville against District 6 runner-up Webster County at 7:30 p.m.
On Tuesday night, District 6 champion Henderson County will play District 5 runner-up Lyon County at 5:45 and District 8 champion Hopkinsville is scheduled to take on District 6 runner-up Hopkins County Central at 7:45.
The Storm defeated the Tigers 5-4 during the regular season. Hopkinsville is 11-6-1 on the season and Hopkins Central is 10-7.
