Coming off a disappointing District 8 loss to Hopkinsville on Wednesday night, University Heights Academy bounced back to defeat visiting Henderson County 3-1 Thursday night in a boys’ high school soccer match.
Hayden Hunt scored twice and Cal Givens added a goal on a penalty kick as UHA won on its homecoming night.
Graham Conrad had a pair of assist for the Blazers while Hayden Fitzsimmons picked up three saves in goal.
UHA improves to 11-5 on the season and stopped a three-match losing streak. The Blazers return to action Monday night at home against Heritage Christian Academy in a District 8 match.
