Hensley paces HCA runners at Gatorland Invitational

The Heritage Christian Academy cross country team participated in the Gatorland Invitational Saturday in Bowling Green.

In the Boys’ Varsity race, Aaron Hensley was the top finisher at 101st in a time of 20:01.32 and Cadyn Travis was 133rd with a time of 20:33.17.

Other Warriors running included Ryan Goforth (241, 26:11.46) and Kollin Stokes (263, 31:01.02).

In the Girls’ Varsity race, Genna Calhoun ran 170th with a time of 29:54.53.

In the Boys’ Middle School 3K race, Ben Hensley finished 55th with a time of 12:44.23.

HCA also was represented in the Elementary School 2K races.

In the girls’ race, Ada Citarella finished 96th in 12:36.83 and MacKenzie Otte crossed the line in 124th with a time of 15:19.85.

In the boys’ race, Oliver Castillas took 71st in 10:37.59 and teammate Colton Struble was 107th in 11:39.80.

Others running for the Warriors included August Casillas (120, 12:27.84), Jackson Rains (147, 15:17.58), and Richard Roberts (148, 15:18.05).
