The Christian County cross country team competed in the 59th annual Owensboro Invitational on Saturday.
In the Varsity Girls race, Aubree Cline finished 34th and Mia Castillo took 46th overall.
Seventy-one runners took part in the Boys’ Varsity race with Christian County’s Cash Taggart finishing 47th and John Pitts crossed the finish line in 59th.
In the Boys’ Middle School race, Christian County’s Lucas Coats bested 70 other runners to win the meet and teammate Bryce Hamlin was runner-up.
In the Girls’ Middle School race, the Lady Colonels finished fifth as a team led by Gracelyn Clark, who finished 23rd overall.
Eliza McLaughlin was 35th and Kaylyn Jorgensen took 43rd. Others running for the Lady Colonels included Britany Martinez (48), Lilly Clllins (49) and Lexi Cavinder (50).
