Led by the play of Matt Baker, the Hopkinsville High School golf team won a three-team match Tuesday afternoon at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.
Baker was the low medalist on the day with a 40 in the nine-hole meet. The Tigers shot a team score of 178, 11 shots better than Logan County with a 189. Christian County took third with a 191.
Isaiah Wood carded a 43 for Hoptown. Ryan Martin (46), Sam Riggs (49), and Henry Riggs (52) also played for the Tigers.
Christian County was led by Drew Fincham’s 43. Clayton Dixon (48), Chris Adcock (50), Cansler Wells (50), and Reed Ezell (53) also played for the Colonels.
Playing as individuals for Hoptown were Landyn Hollimon, who had a 49, JB Payne (53), Aiden Riley (56), and Alex Naylor (67).
Jaedon McMillan played as an individual for the Colonels and had a 57.
