Heritage Christian Academy will continue its run in the Region 2 All “A” Volleyball Tournament Saturday after the Lady Warriors defeated Caldwell County 2-0 Friday night in Warrior Gym.
Bralee Fowler had a big game for HCA with 11 kills, a block and 13 digs as the Lady Warriors won in two sets, 25-21, 25-23.
Allie Craft had 15 digs and Taylor Barbee stuffed the stat box with three kills, two aces and nine digs.
Makenzie McCarty also had another strong game with 19 assists and seven digs. Hadlee Hayes finished with five kills.
Heritage will play Crittenden County at 10 a.m. Saturday at Livingston Central High School. University Heights Academy will play either Fort Campbell or Livingston Central at 11 a.m. in the other semifinal match.
The championship is scheduled for noon with the winner advancing to the All “A” State Tournament Sept. 12-13 at the Owensboro Convention Center.
