Harvest Fest to bring live music, fall time fun to Madisonville

As summer wanes, the City of Madisonville is preparing to welcome fall and invites the community to its annual Harvest Fest for live music and family fun.

The two-day festival takes over the Mahr Park Arboretum on September 26 and September 27.

On day one, the festival kicks off at 5 p.m. and will include live music by the Zach Ashby Band and the band A Girl Makes 3. The day will also include food and retail vendors as well as hayrides around the park.

On day two, the food and retail vendors return from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and there will also be activities for the kiddos, farm machinery displays and hands-on agricultural learning activities.

The second day of the festival also marks the kick-off of the Hay Bale Trail. From September 27 to October 17 folks will be able to vote for their favorite hay display.
