To support Kentucky’s speed-to-market initiative, Governor Andy Beshear announced that over $700,000 in state funding was approved for site and building development projects in Todd, Breckinridge, Washington and Kenton counties.
The state’s speed-to-market initiative supports the development of build-ready sites for industries looking to establish facilities in Kentucky. Beshear says the initiative is crucial to the state’s long-term economic success.
The funding was granted through the Kentucky Product Development Initiative which provides funding for communities to invest in building and industrial site upgrades to encourage job growth.
In Todd County, the funds will go toward due diligence studies on the Robertson Property which neighbors the John E. Walton Business Park.
