After months of renovations and much anticipation, the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library with reopen their second-floor, and they’re inviting the community to the celebration.
According to a news release, the grand ‘reopening’ will take place on September 25 from 4:30 p.m. until 6 p.m., where citizens can take tours of the renovated facility, and witness the refreshed and modernized space that has been designed to better serve patrons of all ages.
Along with the tours, there will be light refreshments on hand that they’ll be presenting the awards for the library’s recent community art contest, with the winning artwork to be displayed throughout the library. The event is free and open to the public.
Library Executive Director Tiffany Luna says, “We’re thrilled to open our doors again and share this beautiful, updated space with the community. This project was designed with community engagement in mind and we can’t wait for everyone to see it.”
