Western Kentucky Medical Group recently joined the Christian County Chamber of Commerce and a ribbon cutting ceremony was hosted on Thursday to celebrate.
The medical group was founded by doctors Harshul Patel and Vaishali Patel in Cadiz. The pair later established two other locations in Hopkinsville on Kenton Street and Canton Street. The ribbon cutting was hosted at the Canton Street location to spotlight the facility’s 2nd anniversary.
With the mission to provide quality and compassionate care, Harshul Patel says they expanded their practice to Hopkinsville after seeing a lack of healthcare access. He says it’s their goal as a primary care provider to offer quick services and same day care if possible.
Along with providing primary care, Vaishali Patel shared that they also offer mental health services. She says they have a psychological care provider who cares for patients dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD and much more.
The medical group has been a part of the community for some time, but by joining the chamber, the pair say it feels more official now and hope the membership leads to more people learning about the care and services they provide.
Looking toward the future, Vaishali Patel shared that they are set to have new primary care and psychological care providers join their staff and they are planning to expand to another location.
The medical group’s Hopkinsville locations are at 1721 Canton Street and 1724 Kenton Street.
