A night after falling to one of the Region 2 favorites, Henderson County, the Christian County Lady Colonels returned to the volleyball court to take on visiting Madisonville-North Hopkins.
Christian County dropped the opening set to the Lady Maroons 25-20 before winning the next three sets 25-10, 25-21, 25-17.
The victory improves the Lady Colonels to 4-3 on the season.
Christian County is scheduled to take part in the Apollo Summer Slam Down Tournament Friday and Saturday in Owensboro. The Lady Colonels are scheduled to play Daviess County, West Jessamine, and Evansville Harrison.
