Three music educators from the Christian County Public School System received Music Teacher of the Year awards at this year’s Kentucky Music Educators Association District meeting.
Abby Hess from Freedom Elementary School, Andrea Armour from Christian County Middle School and Anthony Darnall from Christian County High School were recognized as music teachers of the year in the association’s third district.
The three teachers along with winners from the other 11 districts will be evaluated by a panel and one teacher from the elementary, middle school and high school divisions will be named a Kentucky Music Teacher of the Year.
