Victims identified in Clarksville fatal shooting

The victims from Clarksville’s fatal shooting on Tuesday evening have been identified by the Clarksville Police Department.

Investigation has determined that the incident began as a planned meeting between two groups, which escalated into a shootout, resulting in one person from each group being struck by gunfire.

Both victims, identified as 18-year-old Noah William Peterson and 24-year-old Makhi Richardson, both of Clarksville, die of their injuries. 

Detectives arrested 20-year-old Havin John Lee James and 21-year-old Antario Jameer Hyrne and charged them with tampering with evidence. 

This is believed to have been an isolated incident, and the investigation remains underway.
