A death investigation is underway in Livingston County after a man was found deceased near North Livingston Elementary School.
According to a news release, troopers responded to a grassy area near North Livingston Elementary School just after 1 p.m. Thursday after a deceased male was located there. The deceased is not a school employee or a student, but his identity is being withheld for the time being while next of kin notifications are made.
The circumstances around his death are still under investigation, with an autopsy scheduled to take place.
