Firefighters battled late evening blaze Wednesday, after a trailer hauling cars caught fire at the Kentucky Welcome Center.
The call came in at just after 8:30 p.m. there a vehicle had caught fire in the back lot of the Kentucky Welcome Center located at the state line in Oak Grove on Interstate 24. Crews with the Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department responded and found the semi-truck hauling cars fully involved in flames.
The driver of the semi was able to detach the trailer from the cab of the truck.
The Pembroke Fire Department assisted at the scene with water supply. No injuries were reported in the incident.
