The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet intends to block a portion of KY 91 in Caldwell County on Thursday to allow for the replacement of a cross drain.
According to a news release, a part of the highway between KY 70 in Fredonia and KY 139 in Princeton will be closed to through traffic starting at 7u a.m. Thursday morning. The roadway will be completely blocked between Bright Hill Road and East White Sulfur Road.
The closure is expected to last until approximately 4 p.m. and is a single day closure.
There will be a marked detour in place, utilizing KY 70 and KY 139. Motorists may also use U.S. 62 and U.S. 641 through Eddyville, but there will be no detour signs on this route.
