Two people were injured in a crash in Logan County Friday, sending one to a Nashville hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Department, the two-vehicle crash happened on Morgantown Road near Homer Chapel Road just after 7 a.m. Preliminary investigation determined that a truck driven by 22-year-old Logan Gipson of Lewisburg was heading south on Morgantown Road when he collided head-on with a vehicle operated by 35-year-old Courtney Price of Auburn.
Price sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Bowling Green Medical Center.
Gipson sustained significant injuries and was flown by helicopter to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment.
