The high school golf season began Monday afternoon with the Christian County Lady Colonels taking part in a three-team match at the Madisonville Country Club.
Anslee West led the Lady Colonels with a 64 over nine holes and Lia Beckham fired a 77.
Hopkins County Central’s Macy Cotton and Madisonville-North Hopkins’ Harper Frizzell had the low score of 45.
The Christian County boys’ team, along with teams from Hopkinsville High School and University Heights Academy as well as individuals from Heritage Christian Academy, will open their season today at Marshall County.
