University Heights Academy opened up its girls’ high school golf season on Tuesday afternoon at the Marshall County Invitational in Benton.
Campbell Lindsey led the way for UHA with a 90 over 18-holes. Allie Sandifer had a 92.
The Lady Blazers finished with a team score of 384 as Caroline Tucker and Ella Perry each shot a 101 on the day.
The host Lady Marshals won the tournament with a team score of 326 and Marshall’s Trinity Beth had the low score of 67 on the day.
Graves County took second place with a 351 and the Lady Eagles’ Emilie Miller was second individually with a 76.
Henderson County was third with a 364 and UHA took fourth in the nine-team event.
The boys’ tournament was postponed to Aug. 5 due to excessive heat.
