Local grand jury issues indictments for endangerment, strangulation

A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for wanton endangerment, strangulation and robbery crimes on Friday. 

Twenty-year-old Jordan Houchens of Hopkinsville was arrested on April 21 after he was reportedly involved in a house shooting incident on Fowler Avenue; nobody was injured. He was indicted for two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief, using restricted ammunition during a felony, possession of a stolen firearm by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property and tampering with physical evidence. 

Thirty-year-old Elijah Boodoosingh was arrested on May 29 after he reportedly assaulted a victim and fled once law enforcement arrived at the scene. He was indicted for first-degree strangulation, third-degree fleeing or evading police, intimidating a participant in the legal process, fourth-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and resisting arrest. 

Forty-four-year-old Roman Abate was indicted for second-degree robbery after he reportedly stole from a victim and then attempted to gain access to another home on May 30. 

Thirty-one-year-old Michael Montgomery of Hopkinsville was indicted for second-degree robbery after he reportedly threatened to use force while stealing from a victim on May 16.
