A man was rescued by Hopkinsville Police Officers after he drove his car into a retention pond Tuesday afternoon.
The driver reportedly drove into a pond near the intersection of Fort Campbell Boulevard and Secretariat Way. The Hopkinsville Police Department credited Officer Robert Stucki and Detective Michael Salyers for springing into action and rescuing the driver from the car as it filled with water.
The driver was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for further evaluation.
