A Christian County grand jury issued indictments for assault, fleeing and endangerment-related crimes on Friday.
Twenty-one-year-old Shadymon Buckner of Hopkinsville was indicted for first-degree assault after she reportedly shot a man in the neck with a gun on May 21. He was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment.
Thirty-one-year-old Shaquan Harris of Hopkinsville faces multiple charges after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit on May 11. He was indicted for first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, resisting arrest, reckless driving, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and failure to maintain required insurance.
Twenty-three-year-old William Hoskins of Hopkinsville faces multiple charges after he reportedly stole a vehicle and led law enforcement on a pursuit on April 28. He was indicted for first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, theft by unlawful taking, first-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault of a police officer, reckless driving and speeding.
Twenty-eight-year-old Devonta Burse faces multiple charges after he reportedly assaulted a woman and fled from law enforcement on May 15. He was indicted for second-degree fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, fourth-degree assault, second-degree stalking, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and abandoning a car on a public road.
Thirty-seven-year-old Jamario Whitlock of Hopkinsville faces a slew of charges after he discharged a firearm at an occupied residence on May 10. He was indicted for first-degree burglary, second-degree fleeing or evading police, four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, tampering with physical evidence, violation of conditions of release, two counts of first-degree indecent exposure, two counts of second-degree indecent exposure and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
