A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for wanton endangerment, assault and drug trafficking on Friday.
Forty-six-year-old Mark Ware of Hopkinsville was arrested after he reportedly intentionally drove into a crowd of people at a party on East 18th Street on May 9. A woman was struck by Ware’s car and had to be flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for her injuries.
Ware was indicted for first-degree assault, four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, three counts of first-degree criminal mischief, leaving the scene of an accident without rendering aid, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, failure to maintain insurance and having expired plates.
Twenty-one-year-old Tacorien Coleman of Pembroke was arrested after law enforcement found that he was in possession of narcotics that were in proximity to a young child on March 14. He was indicted for possession of fentanyl derivatives, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and first-degree wanton endangerment.
Twenty-one-year-old Carrie Johnson of Hopkinsville was arrested after she reportedly attempted to break into a home which led to a physical altercation with the homeowner on May 4. She was indicted for second-degree assault, second-degree criminal mischief and alcohol intoxication.
Fifty-two-year-old Lewis O’Hara off Oak Grove was arrested after law enforcement executed a search warrant at his home and reportedly found drugs and handguns on April 28. He was indicted for three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possessing restricted ammunition and possession of drug paraphernalia.
