The announcements continue with Christian County Public Schools, as they name a new Director of Food Service and a Director of Fine Arts Programs.
Rosa Robinson will step in as Director of Food Service, according to a news release, following the recent announcement from current Director Penny Holt that she intends to retire. Robinson most recently served as the Food Service Coordinator, where she played a key role in overseeing daily operations and supporting nutrition initiatives across the district. She will begin her new role August 1.
Then, Christian County High School Band Director Anthony Darnall has been named the Director of Fine Arts Programs for the district. Along with remaining the band director at CCHS, he will now assume district wide responsibilities to oversee all arts programs at both high schools. As band director at Christian County High School, Darnall has led the program for 11 years, earning multiple distinguished awards and state finalist honors.
He has been recognized as the KMEA Third District High School Teacher of the Year and Phi Beta Mu Outstanding Young Band Director for Kentucky. An accomplished trombonist with a Masters in Trombone Performance, he has performed with various symphonies and ensembles and has experience as an adjunct professor.
