A man was killed on the Pennyrile Parkway Monday morning after a semi-truck overturned near the 16-mile-marker.
The tractor-trailer hauling grain overturned just around 7:45 a.m. due to a mechanical issue, and Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Payton Rogers tells WHOP News that the driver, a male in his 30’s, was deceased when they arrived at the scene.
Both northbound scenes were blocked as of 8:30 a.m. and only one southbound lane was open.
